Instead of spending their summer in the streets, they will be learning, making healthy connections, making bonfires and team building activities in a safe environment. Fully paid. They come from homes where meals and rent are uncertain. Single parents working double shifts. Families torn by divorce, illness, or worse. For these kids, summer usually means spending time on the streets in unsafe situations.
$16,000 takes 30 children off of the street and into a safe camp with kosher meals, a bunk of friends who get it, a counselor who listens, a lake at sunrise. Four weeks that quietly rewire what they think they're worth.
